Marie has been a Registered Nurse for almost 30 years, qualifying in Northern Ireland before moving to London to practice in respiratory, cardiothoracic and critical care settings.
More latterly in her career she has led change and improvements in leadership and the workforce but her chief area of focus has always been patient care.
Appointed to her Executive post in 2007, Marie is responsible at the Board for infection prevention and control, the patient experience, public involvement and engagement, and nursing.
