Appointed in August 2011 Pradip qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacy from the London School of Pharmacy. He also has an MBA from Nottingham University.

He has worked for Boots for 34 years, of which the last 18 years were at senior and board levels. He was Managing Director for Boots Opticians and Executive Chairman following its merger with Dolland and Atchison.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and a Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. His interests include Religion, Aviation, following Manchester United and actively playing Golf and Squash.
