Please do
- Wash your hands before and after visiting relatives or friends
- Keep lockers free from clutter to enable cleaning
- Bring your own toiletries and moist hand wipes into hospital when you come as a patient and use these after meals and after visiting the bathroom.
- Wash hands after using the toilet
- Please feel free to ask hospital staff if they have washed or used alcohol gel to clean their hands
- Talk to staff if you are concerned about infection or the cleanliness of the ward
- Wash your hands prior to eating
You must not:
- Come to visit a friend or relative if you are feeling unwell with sickness, diarrhoea, fever, sore throat or flu
- Sit on any bed other than your own
- Walk in bare feet
- Have more than two visitors at a time
- Allow visitors to sit on the bed, please use the chairs provided
