General Paediatrics
Paediatric Accident & EmergencyThe Accident and Emergency department has a dedicated paediatric unit with over 20,000-childhood attendances each year. The unit has a paediatric waiting area and 7 bays for seeing children with a short stay observation unit. Dr Wendy Kuriyan is the lead Consultant with an interest in paediatrics for A&E. The department has close ties with a number of tertiary level services for children including St Mary’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital to which critically ill children may be transferred.
