Welcome to The Hillingdon Hospital Purchasing and Supplies web page. We have created this web portal to provide a one-stop-shop for information and resources around the procurement activities at both at The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.
The primary aim of the department is to source purchase and supply good and services which meet all of the requirements of our customers. This includes quality, cost, environmental concerns and ethical purchasing to meet the overall target of value for money for our patients. In order to provide these services, the department is on the leading edge of advancements in e-procurement, materials management and efficient stock holding.
We have been at the forefront of a project with Coding International which seeks to produce common coding across the NHS. As a result we have become a reference site for Coding International and have been visited by other Trusts wishing to improve their services using the same processes. We have also recently developed the first e-procurement system in the NHS to fully manage our material supplies and labour sourcing within our estates department
