Outpatient Services
How to make an appointment with the teamGeneral dermatology outpatient clinics are held in main outpatients at Hillingdon Hospital and from the Treatment Centre in Mount Vernon Hospital. If you would like to be treated by our dermatology team please contact your GP to be referred to our service directly. Referrals can be written or electronically made via Choose & Book. Inpatient ServicesThe team supports specialities across the trust such as A&E and also provides an inpatient advisory service. Hillingdon Hospital works closely with the Amersham Hospital and staff have admitting rights to the dermatology unit there. Patients needing specialist inpatient dermatology care are admitted to Amersham Hospital where they are cared for by specialist nursing staff and doctors. North West London Cancer NetworkThe hospital is part of the North West London Cancer Network – the department holds fortnightly multidisciplinary skin cancer meetings with pathology, oncology, plastics and maxillofacial surgery input. The department has successfully passed Peer Review in July 2011. Support ServicesThe dermatology department has excellent support and access to: chemical pathology, haematology and radiology support.
