These opportunities include job sharing, career breaks and part-time options, as well as opportunities for extra work through our in-house nurse or clerical bank. Flexible working is offered both with part time and job sharing options, and nursery facilities are provided at both of our hospitals.

Nurseries

The new purpose built nursery on the Hillingdon site is operated by a company called Tender Loving Childcare (TLC). The nursery at Hillingdon has capacity for 96 children from 6 wks to 5 yrs.

The on-site nursery facilities at Mount Vernon are provided by company called Bright Horizons.

Accommodation

Accommodation is usually available when you commence employment with us, through Thames Valley Housing Association (TVHA), for 6 months at either site. It is available for any member of staff working for the Trust although priority is given to clinical staff and is limited to one person only.

Leisure Clubs

To help you stay healthy and unwind, we offer corporate membership at a variety of local leisure clubs. Your health is vitally important to us, so you can look forward to a full Occupational Health Service including chiropody services, the opportunity to join the HSA scheme and a subsidised staff restaurant.
