Voluntary support is committed to recruiting individuals from a spectrum of the community. They match individual skills/experience to appropriate placements, with training and support to develop skills. Patient Welcoming Volunteer for the Paediatric Audiology ClinicWe are looking for volunteers to meet and greet patients and families in the Child Development Centre and to inform the Audiologist that their patient has arrived for their appointment. WRVS VolunteersWRVS run a shop in the main entrance at Hillingdon Hospital and seek volunteers to help in the shop or on the ward trolley round. Patient Experience VolunteersImproving our patients experience is a priority in our hospitals. Feedback from our patients helps us to identify what we are doing well and where we may need to improve. We are currently looking for volunteers to support us with collecting feedback from our patients using our electronic devices. Ward Based Patient CompanionsWe are currently looking to recruit more volunteers to compliment the team of Ward Based Patient Companion Volunteers who are actively working in the Trust. Meet and Greet Volunteers: Maternity and Main HospitalWe know that first impressions count and would like to make sure that visitors to the hospital are met by a friendly face and helpful attitude. We are looking to recruit Meet and Greet volunteers who can support us in providing a warm welcome to visitors to our hospital. Comforts FundIf interested in volunteering for the Comforts Fund, please visit one of their shops at Mount Vernon Hospital. The Comforts Fund, based at Mount Vernon Hospital, was established in 1935. The group now supports all NHS patients at Mount Vernon Hospital. The name reflects the right for patients to have a comfortable experience, being treated with dignity and respect. The money raised contibutes to equipment and materials for patients, such as the recently purchased 14 electric beds for the Trinity Day Ward. 160 volunteers work for the fund running the:
