PPI: People in Partnership Forum
As a Foundation Trust our membership includes both public and staff, therefore the name of People in Partnership will be changing to ‘People in Partnership’ from 1st August 2011.
Membership of 'People in Partnership' is open to everybody, you may:
- Be living within the Borough of Hillingdon
- Be registered with a GP practice within the Borough of Hillingdon
- Be a patient under a Trust health professional, or
- Represent a voluntary or community organisation within the Borough of
Hillingdon
- Be a member of staff
Aims of the forum
We aim to involve patients and the local community in decision-making on
the acute health services we offer by:
- Actively involve patients and members of the public in the development
and planning of services by the Trust
- Ensure that the contribution made is as representative of as many patients
and the public as possible and is positive, encouraging and objective
- Obtain feedback on the quality and provision of services to help support
decision-making
- Assist in drafting Trust materials e.g. new leaflets, and offer feedback
on literature e.g. annual reports.
| Public
meetings are scheduled every two months and chaired
by the Chief Executive or a member of his executive team. Speakers from a range of Trust services will attend People in Partnership
and you will be given the opportunity to comment and ask questions that are
important to you. There is no need to attend every meeting. If there are any
topics you would like to hear about at a future meeting please let us know. |
