Visitors: Shops and Eateries

There are two hospitals in our Trust, Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital. Please see the getting here guide for directions and parking information for either.

Hillingdon Hospital

The main reception area holds a cafe, shop and a cash machine (free of charge). Cafe Ritazza offers speciality coffees with delicious breads and pastries, open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 11am-6pm at weekends. The newsagent is open from 8am-8pm weekdays and 8am-6pm at the weekend.

The main hospital restaurant is situated on the lower ground floor of the main Tower Block and is open from 7am-8pm Monday to Sunday, supplying a range of traditional fayre.

The League of Friends run a snack bar selling sandwiches, sweets and drinks in the Main Outpatient Department Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm.

They also run a Baby Boutique (with a small range of snacks) in the Main Entrance of the Maternity Unit, open from 10.30am-4pm Monday to Friday, and 2pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

A small refreshment facility within Maternity is open most mornings, run by the WRVS.

Mount Vernon Hospital

The Oak Tree Restaurant at Mount Vernon Hospital is situated in the main building, past the reception area. It is open from 7am-7.45pm Monday to Sunday, supplying a range of traditional fayre.

The Comforts Fund volunteer group runs a newsagents on site (11am to 3pm) and two coffee bars, situated on the ground floor of the Princess Christian Wing (9.45am-4pm) and main Outpatients and Cancer Outpatient Departments (10am-4pm).

There is a small shop area at Mount Vernon Hospital, with a hairdresser, clothes shop, car repair service and a mini cab office. There is currently no cash machine.
