We have signed up for the NHS People Pulse

Date published: 10 June 2021

Over the past year the health and wellbeing of staff across the NHS has been a high priority and is something our Trust aims to continue and embed beyond the pandemic. Therefore, the Trust has signed up to regularly check-in with staff by using the 'People Pulse' to help improve the support the organisation is able to provide, starting in June 2021. The People Pulse is a monthly survey which allows staff to share their experiences at work, including motivation levels and what other support would improve their experiences at work at that particular time.

The Trust has over 3,500 staff based across two hospitals in North-West London, Hillingdon and Mount Vernon, all of which can offer a valuable opinion on their own personal experiences of working at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. By implementing the monthly People Pulse the Trust aims to gather increased insight and understanding of staff views, listen to concerns, ideas and suggestions which will enable the organisation to improve the support provided to staff in a timely way and specifically tailor it if necessary.

Listening to our staff regularly will allow the Trust to act and respond to concerns and help improve the support that we provide our staff, making The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust a great place to work.
