Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy

Our physiotherapists and occupational therapists help with many aspects of function, independence, mobility and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Any therapist working in our Trust (at Hillingdon or Mount Vernon Hospital) has graduated with a diploma or degree in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy 2017).

Occupational therapy enables people to achieve health, well-being and life satisfaction through participation in occupation. (College of Occupational Therapists 2017).

We provide a wide range of services which allows us to effectively treat a large variety of conditions and help people achieve agreed goals.
